The standard way of sending mail is done via MX routing. When a mail is sent, it
is received by an SMTP server. The SMTP server looks at the receiver(s) of the
mail, and then looks up the MX record for the server part of the e-mail address.
The SMTP server tries to send the mail to the next SMTP server with the lowest
MX value, but if it fails, sends to the one with a lower (higher value)
priority.
When you use V@csin, you will reset your MX routes to point to V@csins
mailservers. When V@csin receives the mail, it filters the mail for
spam and virus, and finally sends the mail onward to your old mailservers. In
other words, the only difference that you will see is that your MX records are
set up differently, and that your mail contains almost no viruses or spam.
V@csin is also able to offer the extra security of having your mail sent over
secure tunnels, the only cost being for setup and configuration of the tunnel.
The tunnels supported are:
- IP-through-IP Tunneling
- GRE Tunneling
- Microsoft VPN
- SSH Tunneling
- Tailored PKI tunneling

Prices are simple to calculate. There are two basic scenarios:
- When your company don't receive much mail, or any large attachments,
each user will use around 20 Megabyte of data per month. Multiply this by how
many mail accounts you have.
- If your company do receive lots of mail, and/or large attachments, each user
will use around 50 Megabyte of data per month. Multiply this by how many mail
accounts you have.
Then look in the table below to see what package you should subscribe to.
